Public Skating

Public Skating at AdventHealth Center Ice

AdventHealth Center Ice offers skaters of all skill levels an opportunity to enjoy ice skating at the largest ice sports facility in the Southeast. Public Skating is available at AdventHealth Center Ice on a regular basis. We offer the most public sessions in the state of Florida!



Duration: Covers one of the two-hour blocks that we offer
Discounts: Seniors, Veterans, First Responders and Children Three and Younger ($8.00)

Skate Rental

Sizes: We offer a wide range of sizes, from 8J to 13
Styles: You may choose between both Figure and Hockey style skates

Skate Aids

Availability: Seals are meant for ages eight and younger
(aids can be provided for older skaters if necessary)

Includes 4 Public Skate Admissions and 4 skate rentals

25 Public Punch Card

25 public skate sessions for the price of 20 (skate rental not included)

Group Rates

Group Rate (10+ Skaters): $12 per skater (including admission/skates), $11 per skater (tax-exempt, including admission/skates)

Group Rate (50+ Skaters): $11 per skater (including admission/skates), $10 per skater (tax-exempt, including admission/skates)

Private Room w/ Lunch: Rates vary, please contact us directly for inquiries.

Our facility does NOT allow outside food; therefore, lunches do have to be coordinated through Top Shelf Sports Lounge, our on-site restaurant.

Facility Tour

Free! Go behind the scenes of how we keep our facility so cold in the Florida heat and watch our elite skaters perform daring maneuvers on the ice.

We also now offer the HerStory museum, highlighting Title Nine and the impact of women in sports.

If you would like a tour, please call our main number and let us know ahead of time so we can assign a staff member to guide your tour.

Code of Conduct

NO Food or beverage allowed on the ice at any time.

NO horseplay or potentially unsafe games allowed on the ice.

NO roughness, excessive speeding, or weaving through other skaters.

NO use of cell phones or headphones while on the ice.

No persons are allowed on the ice without skates.

NO sitting on, leaning on, or leaving articles on the dasher boards.

NO more than 3 people holding hands while on the ice

NO one is allowed on the ice during resurfacing.

Carrying children on the ice is prohibited.

Center Ice is reserved for instructional use only.

Children ages 8 and under must ALWAYS be accompanied and supervised by an adult while on the ice.

Foul, abusive, or obscene language is strongly prohibited.

Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.

Sled skating is permitted.

Throwing snowballs or any other objects is strictly prohibited.

While on the ice, skaters must keep moving in the direction of the flow.

All public sessions are subject to a 15-minute ice cut.


AdventHealth Center Ice is not responsible for any personal items stolen or left within or around the premises. The arena management and staff will enforce this Code of Conduct for all visitors of the arena. Loss of rink privileges and/or criminal prosecution will be imposed as necessary.

Skate Guards

These are the Guys and Gals in the Red Jackets so that you can see them!

The Skate Guard is one of the most important people in the ice arena on our Public Skate ice sessions.

Our Skate Guards are there to provide safety, entertainment, customer service and education about the rink and our programs. They are friendly, available and ready to help any of our customers have a fun and safe skating experience.


HECC approved helmet, gloves, stick and pucks required – Full equipment required for skaters under the age of 18
